The best way to find schematics at this point is to head straight for the Red Zone and complete the Deliver Cargo mission repeatedly. You will be avoiding combat so you don't need to bring any strong weapons!

How To Defeat Mega Abomination

This guide introduces two aquisition methods: one for solo play and another for co-op play.

1. When Playing Solo

The following approach lets you take down the Red Zone boss solo, but it can get risky even when using the Juggernaut so it's recommended only if you think you are skilled enough to take on this challenge alone. If you are quite new, try to invite friends and use the co-op strategy explained in ▼Second Method which is much safer.

Solo Walkthrough Chart
  1. Collect 10,000 Essence in the White Zone.
  2. To avoid encounters with enemies, head to the Red Zone by boat and look for the nearest Buy Station accessible from the river.
  3. Purchase Juggernaut at the Buy Station in the Red Zone
*If Decoy Grenades are unlocked, bring them along. If you feel surrounded by zombies, throwing a Decoy Grenade can divert their attention.
*If you don't have Decoy Grenades, when you're in danger of being surrounded by zombies, enter the river and wait for the threat to pass. Once you reach the opposite bank (Orange Zone), zombies that cannot enter the water will start moving in the other direction, so take that opportunity to purchase the Juggernaut.
  4. Escape to the Orange Zone and find a vehicle. Set a waypoint for the Eliminate Contract in the Red Zone. Head over to that location by car.
  5. After accepting the contract, mark the target on the map and use the vehicle to get to the target.
  6. Use the Juggernaut, get in a car and endure until the drop.
  7. Once Juggernaut is available, exit the car and shoot as many bullets as possible at the boss.
*The Juggernaut has a time limit, and depending on the boss, if you miss too many shots, you may not be able to defeat it, so be cautious.
  8. Check the Rift, collect the rewards, and head to the Exfil point.
*If you couldn't obtain the Ray Gun Schematic, restart from Step 1.
How To Play Zombies Solo

Step 2: If There Is No Buy Station Along The River

If there's no Buy Station by the river in the Red Zone, use a car to reach one that's easily accessible. If surrounded by zombies, either use the car to escape or use a Decoy Grenade to temporarily distract them.

Step 4: If the Mega Abomination Eliminate Contracts Does Not Exist

The contracts are random, so consider accepting other Elimination Contracts and cancelling them immediately until the Mega Abomination Elimination Contract appears.

2. When Playing In Co-op

This method requires upgrading weapons with Pack-a-Punch to level 3 although some players may be able to fare even with level 2 if they're confident. This might take some time and whether you can obtain a Wonder Weapon depends on luck. However, there's a high chance you can accomplish this with consistent team effort.

Multiplayer Walkthrough Chart
  1. Collect 5,000 Essence in the White Zone.
  2. Go to the Red High Threat Zone and purchase a weapon from a Wall Buy.
*Take a boat to the Red Zone to avoid encountering enemies then search for a Wall Buy that is easily accessible from the riverfront.
*If Decoy Grenades are unlocked, bring them along as they can be used as an escape tool. To avoid being surrounded by zombies, throwing a Decoy Grenade can divert their attention.
  3. Collect more Essence in the Orange Zone and use the Pack-a-Punch to upgrade your weapon to Level 3 (or Level 2 if you're experienced enough.)
*Use an Aetherium Crystal if you have it.
  4. Get lots of Armor Plates at a Buy Station.
  5. Complete your objective in the Red Zone.

Defeating Mega Abomination

Mega Abomination

The Mega Abomination is often at the entrance of the Red Zone. Upgrade your weapon, and bring a self-revive and many Armor Plates before entering.

The zombies in the Red Zone are powerful, so we recommend making it follow you to the Orange Zone to make it easier.

How To Kill Warlord & Location

Red Zone Basic Tips

Avoid Fighting

Enemies in the Red Zone take time to kill and are very strong. We recommend avoiding any combat that is unnecessary to achieve your objective, such as completing contracts and defeating bosses.

Defeat Hell Hounds First

If you hear the sound of a Hell Hound, defeat it first. They are very fast and will charge towards you, so there is always a risk of dying if you don't eliminate it.

Always Look Around You

You must avoid being surrounded by zombies in the Red Zone. Always check where the zombies are and avoid getting surrounded at all costs.

Retreat If You Run Out Of Armor Plates

If you run out, escape immediately to purchase more. You cannot survive the Red Zone without Armor Plates.

Use Lethal / Tactical / Field Upgrades / Turrets

Always remember to use what you have, any weapons or equipment. It's better than dying. The turrets you can find in the Red Zone are very powerful, so use those as well if you have Turret Circuits.

Purchase Juggernauts

Juggernauts will make it much easier to defeat the Mega Abomination.

Best Way To Get More Essence

Use The Tombstone Soda

When you use the Tombstone Soda, you can leave your items on the map. You can go and retrieve it in the next run to get your items back, including your Essence points.

Once you collect all the Essence you can, drink the Tombstone Soda and die to retrieve it when you come back. This will allow you to have many Essence points from the beginning.

Where To Buy Tombstone Soda

wunderfizz vending machine map location

You can purchase Tombstone Soda at the Wunderfizz vending machines. These are randomly located in the Red Zone, but they should be easy to find on the map.
