Campaign Mode Difficulties
The Campaign mode has 4 difficulty settings. They are Recruit, Regular, Hardened, and Veteran.| Difficulty | Description |
|---|---|
| Recruit | For players who are new to Call of Duty |
| Regular | Your abilities in combat will be tested |
| Hardened | Your skills will be strained |
| Veteran | You will not survive |
Recruit
This is the easiest difficulty in the game and is recommended if you are not used to playing FPS games.Regular
This is the standard difficulty. If you have no preference or can't decide which to choose, we recommend this.Hardened
This is a slightly harder difficulty. Choose this if you think the Regular difficulty is too easy, or you want to play a second time through after playing on Regular.Veteran
Traditionally for past Call of Duty games, Veteran suddenly becomes way harder than any of the other difficulty settings. This will provide a whole new experience for MW3.Rewards
Obtain 141 Ready Trophy
You can unlock the 141 Ready Gold Trophy by completing All Campaign Missions in Veteran mode.

Mission Select Screen
You can choose which difficulty you want to play at the mission select screen.During The Mission
You can also change the difficutly at any time during the mission. Simply pause the game and select "Change Difficulty" from the menu. This will change the difficulty mid-mission.CoD: MW3 Related Guide
