Final Mission: Trojan Horse

The conclusion of the final Trojan Horse mission sets the stage for the Countdown, where you find yourself in a race against time to deactivate the bombs planted by Makarov in the train station.

The Countdown

You will need to prevent Makarov from triggering the explosives, which pose a grave threat to not only those currently in the tunnels but also a significant number of innocent lives around the vicinity above.

Bomb Time Limit

Disarming the bomb may be tricky. It's important to meticulously follow Soap's instructions and accurately respond to his queries, such as identifying the manufacturer logo and providing the correct serial number, to successfully advance in the process.

Soap Gets Killed During The Mission

In the final mission to defuse the bombs, Soap meets his tragic end in a lethal confrontation with Vladimir Makarov. Despite Soap's efforts to stop Makarov, he is ultimately overpowered by the cunning antagonist, succumbing to a fatal gunshot to the side of his head that led to his immediate demise.

Makarov Escapes

Makarov will then escape as reinforcement arrives, vanishing without a trace as he slipped through the shadows just as the train departed.

Price Kills General Shepherd

After the credits, a short cutscene will commence showing General Shepherd in his office. Captain Price will confront him and afterwards, will kill him with a gun.
