New Features of Multiplayer and Zombies

Multiplayer - UIX

New Features & Quality of Life
- Player health and stamina are now represented by dynamic bars on the HUD.
Note: This feature is only available in Multiplayer and Zombies.
- Faction assignment will now appear as a splash at the start of each match.
- Added Upper Legs Damage and Empty Reload Quickness statistics to the Details widget in the Gunsmith.
- Increased decimal precision of the Flinch Resistance stat in the Details widget in the Gunsmith.
- Added icons in the Gunsmith to represent which title an Attachment originates from.
- Reduced volume of the Multi-Kill and Medal splash sound effects.
Bug Fixes
- In Search and Destroy, hovering a bombsite on the Tac-Map will no longer reveal when a player is actively defusing.
- Addressed multiple issues in Private Matches that caused players to be kicked back to the Main Menu.
- Hovering an equipped Killstreak will no longer kick the player back to the Multiplayer menu.
- Resolved a font rendering issue that caused text to be improperly displayed.
- Improved performance of Social features for players with large Friend counts.
- Resolved an issue in which the incorrect Weapon would be featured in the overlay of Killcams.
- Kill Counter will now properly function with streaks beyond 120 Kills.
- Reduced hitching that infrequently occurred while transitioning between menus.
- Addressed an issue that caused the application to freeze while editing a Loadout.
- Resolved a crash that could occur prior to viewing an After Action Report.
- Addressed an issue that caused a crash while reporting a player.
- Lockpick (Operator) can now be equipped, where available, without using the Quick Equip option.
- Scrolling menus while in splitscreen will no longer result in the cursor appearing off-screen.
- Improved readability of the timer below the Event tab.


Increased animation rate of the Priceless and Interstellar Completionist Camos.

New Events

Zombie Santa holiday time-limited event will be released.

Gaia and Gaia BlackCell Operator Skins for Nova have been temporarily disabled.

Adjustments to improve the visibility of the Gaia Operator Skins are underway. Until these changes can be released to all players, these items will be unavailable to equip in MWIII.



Adjusted initial spawns in Free-for-All game modes to prevent players from spawning on each other’s line of sight.
Sub Base
Addressed an exploit that allowed players to exit the playable area near the Maintenance Yard.
Operation Spearhead (War)
Added spawn points to the Cargo area to prevent Defenders from being killed shortly after respawning.
Farm 18 (MWII)
Relocated a spawn point that placed players outside of the playable area.


Team Deathmatch
Increased match score limit from 75 to 100.
Ground War
Addressed an issue causing DEV ERROR 841 during normal gameplay.
Equipping Attachments to Weapons in Private Matches will now properly save to the Loadout after returning to the Main Menu.
Players will no longer be kicked back to the Play tab after attempting to equip a Weapon via the Battle Pass menu.
Loadouts will no longer appear to have placeholder items selected after transitioning from MWZ to Multiplayer menus.
View Weapon Mastery button in the Weapon Customization menu will now reflect Handgun Mastery completion.
Addressed an issue that caused the HUD to be visible in Hardcore game modes.
Addressed an exploit that allowed players to appear in the prone animation while sprinting.
Improved progression tracking for several kill-based Challenges.
Added missing name for Daily Challenge progression in the Notifications tray.


EOD Padding (Gear)
Incoming explosive damage is now properly clamped at 80% of the player’s maximum health.

New Weapon Released : TAQ Eradicator

With the Weekly Challenge, Week 4 will unlock a new weapon called TAQ Eradicator.

Update Details

On November 17, an update was released for PC and consoles. This included changes such as bug fixes, maps, weapon buffs/debuffs, and Zombies. See below for some of the significant changes.



Armory Unlocks
Wins will now progress Armory Unlocks without first completing Daily Challenges.
Bug Fixes
Fixed graphical corruption when transitioning between Field Upgrades and Social menus.
XP requirements in the Progression menu will no longer display as negative values under certain conditions.
Attachments that are incompatible with the current selection can no longer be equipped to a Weapon.


Updated description of Gilded Camo challenge for the MTZ-556 to accurately reflect the intended requirements.
Weekly Challenges requiring Triple Kills and Quad Kills will now properly track completion.


Adjusted environmental fog to increase contrast, improving visibility.
Decreased grime on windows of the Lodge to improve clarity.


Holger 556Decreased damage and increased sprint to fire time.
DG-58Decreased damage and increased burst delay.
FR 5.56Decreased damage and increased ADS/sprint to fire time.
StrikerIncreased damage and decreased ADS time.
AMR9Increased damage and decreased sprint to fire time.

Nerfs & Buffs - Weapon Patch Notes


Ordnance GlovesRemoved undocumented reduction to the cook duration of Frag Grenades.



Storm the CastleWarlord kill credit is now squad-based, and the required mission item will now spawn when a member of your squad kills the target.
InterceptorDestroy Mercenary Convoy and Picking up a Keycard from a mercenary at the convoy now accurately tracks completion.


Essence can no longer be stowed.
Addressed an issue where newly stowed items, acquisitions, or schematics would be replaced, and therefore lost.
Closed various exploits related to the use of Cymbal Monkeys.
Closed an exploit that permitted duplication of scorestreaks.


Zombie spawn priority has been adjusted to favor increased ground spawning.
Terminus Outcomes
Mercenary damage against Player Armor has been reduced and Shielded Soldiers now have a slower fire rate.
