Before, you were able to get a 1 shot kill within the Effective Damage Range if you hit the head, torso or arms but after an update, the damage to the lower torso and arms have been decreased. Due to this, you need to hit the head or upper torso to get a 1 shot kill. It now requires you to be more accurate with your aiming, but it has been buffed in other aspects so we made a list of the changes below.

This update can be seen as both a buff or nerf, but it can be considered a buff for players who have accurate aiming. Even if you don't get a 1 shot kill, thanks to the smaller trigger delay the Fire Rate is effectively faster, making it easier to get a 2 shot kill.
This build uses the JAK Beholder Rifle Kit to greatly increase the Effective Damage Range, making it possible to treat it like a Sniper Rifle. For some unknown reason, equipping it sometimes allows you to get a 1 shot kill even if you hit the lower torso, though that shouldn't be possible. So we think equipping the JAK Beholder Rifle Kit on the TYR will continue to be a popular build.

This is an Akimbo build that uses the Snake Shot Ammunition, which can shoot multiple pellets that scatter much like a Shotgun. If you are less than 10 meters away, you can technically get a one shot kill by firing both guns at the target's upper body.
We selected the XTEN Sidearm-L400 for the Laser attachment to improve Hip Fire Accuracy, but some may prefer using the CS15 Scarlet Mounted Laser instead. The CS15 Scarlet Mounted Laser will decrease the spread radius of the pellets, making it possible to aim more precisely. That does mean you will have to be more accurate with your aiming, but you may want to consider using it if you are confident with your aiming.

You can treat this weapon like a Shotgun by equipping the Snake Shot ammunition and at the same time being able to dual wield this weapon makes it even more powerful. The game has been updated to decrease the damage output when you equip Akimbo, but it is still powerful.
The downside is that even if you Pack-a-Punch it you only have 5 rounds for each pistol, the range is short, and you cannot use ADS. But once you get used to it, it is very effective against both bosses and zombies. It is especially powerful against bosses. When you shoot the boss's weak point simultaneously with both guns, the damage output is unmatched.
