Deal Massive Cryo Damage when Sliding
Upon Sliding, the Snowshoe will release a high damage Cryo Nova at the cost of the user's shield. The more shields you have, the higher the damage will be.
Some Damage are Returned as Health
30% of the damage done by the Cryo Nova will be returned as health to the user. This is great if you find yourself low on health, but with an influx of shields.

In an official preview, the Frozen Snowshoe has a Cryo Element. Although this does not guarantee that it will only come in that elemental type.

Since the Frozen Snowshoe is exclusive to the Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite, the simplest way of getting it is to keep playing the Takedown. Regular and badass enemies will have a chance of dropping it.
Higher Chance of Legendaries from Wotan the Invincible
Wotan the Invincible is the raid boss of the Takedown at Maliwan's Blacksite. As a raid boss, there's a higher chance of getting a legendary from it, including the Frozen Snowshoe!
