Make Sure To Repair The Knife

To perform the Slaughterhouse Slam move, a knife is necessary. Prior to the Village Chief's battle, there will be a Merchant available nearby, so it's recommended to have your knife repaired. Since there is a risk of it breaking during parrying, it's best to increase the knife's durability as well.

How to Use Knife & Stealth Kill

Go To The Second Floor And Grab The Other Knife In Case Yours Breaks During The Fight

Should your knife break during the Village Chief battle because of a parry, retrieve the Kitchen Knife situated near the center of the scaffolding on the second floor.

Go Upstairs And Attack Until The Village Chief Goes Down

Fight the Village Chief on the second floor because Leon needs to be there to attack until the boss is down. The boss will be defeated after receiving a certain amount of damage.

Walk Slowly Towards The Village Chief When It Is Down

When the Village Chief is down and crouched, approach Mendez carefully on foot to avoid falling down to the first floor. Once you're close enough, the follow-up attack command will appear.

It May Fall To The First Floor If You Run And Approach It!

Attacking the Village Chief is still possible even from the second floor if you get close enough to follow up with the attack button, so focus on obtaining the knife with it. The attack is successful by having Leon jump and thrust the knife as shown in the video.

Aim While Fighting In First Form

Although it's possible in the second form, it's quite bothersome as you need to make sure to knock down the Village Chief when it approaches you. Therefore, it's recommended to aim for the first form, where you can knock down the Village Chief anytime without any problems.

Avoid Using A Strong Weapon To Punch!

In the second round or beyond, with a stronger weapon and on a lower difficulty level, there are cases where you can defeat the Village Chief without knocking him down. However, in order to achieve the Slaughterhouse Slam, it is necessary to knock him down, so it is safer to fight with a slightly weaker weapon.
