What To Prepare For The Professional Difficulty

  • Clear the game once first (prerequisite)
  • Buy Infinite Rocket Launcher
  • Be familiar with the strategy/shortcut method
  • Save often

Clear The Game Once First

In order to play the Professional difficulty, you must first complete the game once. If you plan to have a second playthrough, it'd be better to do the Collectibles and Money-farming as much as possible during the first playthrough. If you're not particularly against playing easiy, "ASSISTED" mode is recommended, as it is relatively easy to complete compared to other levels.

Story Walkthrough Guide

Buy Infinite Rocket Launcher

As for the second and subsequent playthroughs, having the Infinite Rocket Launcher will make going through them easier. You can defeat most of the enemies in a single shot, considerably shortening the needed time to clear the game. However, you can't achieve an S+ Rank in the second playthrough, which means Cat Ears/Handcannon cannot be obtained.

Be Familiar With The Strategy/Shortcut Method

If you want to clear the game within 5 hours and 30 minutes, be familiar with the campaign and how to clear the game as soon as possible. It's tough if you spend time wondering and wasting time on unnecessary actions.

Save Often

There is no auto-save in Professional difficulty so if you die, you start where you left off the last time you manually saved. Be careful and save between chapters or after forced battles, or you will have to start over if you die later.

Tips To Clear Professional Difficulty

  • Load from the title when you die
  • Avoid attacks with parry
  • Get Chicken Hat in Hardcore S+

Load From The Title When You Die

Attacks in Professional Difficulty are all one-shot kills, so it is not uncommon to die. If you choose to Continue or Load, the game will start from the time when you died, which is a waste of time. If you are aiming to complete the game within 5 hours and 30 minutes, you should return to the title instead before continuing.

Avoid Attacks With Parry

Professional is very difficult with enemy attacks being very quick and can insta-kill you. If you are not well equipped at the beginning of the game, such as in the village where you will be often attacked, it's best to parry. Only the Perfect Parry works, so be sure to watch the attack carefully.

How To Parry Attacks

Get Chicken Hat In Hardcore S+

"Chicken Hat" is an accessory that can be obtained by clearing the hardcore difficulty and achieving an S+ Rank. Its special effect reduces damage received, making it easier to attack. Clear Hardcore difficulty first to get it.
