How To Use The Knife
Setup With L1 For Default Setting
| Stabbing Attack | R2 while pressing L1 |
| Oversized Attack | R2 |
If your settings are still on default, you can set up your knife with L1. There are 2 types of range combat with the knife, 1 is by stabbing and if there are several enemies then you can oversize attack to defeat them all.
With Parry Defend From Enemies' Attacks
By setting up the knife with the movement of the enemies' attack, then you will be able to parry. Also you will be able to defend yourself with the knife from chainsaw attacks or other powerful attacks.
When You Use The Knife, Durability Decreases
The knife has a durability meter, and when your meter is gone, then you will not be able to use or attack with the knife. You can fix your knife at the Merchant.

How To Stealth Kill
Get Close Without Being Seen
Try not to be seen or caught, and get behind your enemy and press the Attack Command and you will be able to Stealth Kill. If the enemy is a weak mobs then you will be able to defeat it in one stab.
You Can Stab Even During Battle
Under some circumstances you will be able to Knife Kill as listed below.
Conditions Confirmed To Be Able To Knife Kill
- Flinched by a flash grenade
- The enemy is down
- Flinched by a gun and attack from behind with knife
