Save Manually
Typewriters are the iconic saving points for this game franchise. As long as you spot a Typewriter you can easily and frequently save your game progress any time you like.
Arrange Your Belongings (Deposit Into The Item Box)
These typewriters allow you to organize your items or belongings. You can deposit your unused items in the attache case of the item box. By depositing your items inside the attache case, you can also prevent your handhelds from becoming full.
Change Charms/Attache Case
If you have charms or attache cases, you can change them with a typewriter since there are many effects such as craft bonuses and an increase in drop rates for certain items. You can change them as well according to the weapon you get or you want to use.

How To Save
Manual Save
The easiest way to save your game is through the Typewriters, however, their locations are quite limited so make sure to save your progress.
Save After Completing A Chapter
You can also opt to choose to save your progress once you have completed a chapter. This is useful when you want to halt your gameplay between chapters.
Auto Save Is Available Between Areas
In Resident Evil 4 Remake, a white circle will appear on the upper left corner of the screen whenever the area is switched. Once the circle appears it is an indication that the game can be auto-saved, after saving, you can also redo or continue with your game progress.
