Body Armor Effects

If you have Body Armor, a vest-shaped gauge will appear in the bottom right corner of the game screen. It has the effect of taking over a certain amount of damage from gunfire, ammo, and rocket blasts from enemies.

Reduces Damage From Melee Attacks
Body armor reduces damage from close-range weapons like axes and sickles, but it doesn't completely protect against attacks like gunfire. Still, it can help minimize the damage you receive.
It Will Break When It Runs Out Of Durability
When the endurance reaches 0, a horizontal line appears in the lower right gauge icon and it becomes unusable. You need to repair it to be able to use it again.
