Differences Between The Remake & The Original

The official trailer showed a knife fight with Krauser. The original version of the Krauser fight was fought with QTEs inserted in the middle of cutscenes, but no QTEs were seen in the Remake's Krauser fight. It is assumed that some of the QTEs would be removed in the Remake.

More Uses For Knives

In the original version, the knife was limited to swiping at boxes and enemies. But in the Remake, the knife can be used to parry or defend, increasing its uses. A durability mechanic will be added to weapons, and the knife can be repaired by a merchant when the durability is low.

Can "Crouch" At Any Time

In the original version, a crouch was only possible in certain places, but in the remake, you can crouch at any time. This allows the player to be more stealthy, and can also be used to avoid enemy attacks.

Blue Flyers (Side Quests) Added

Side Quests will appear as Blue Flyers on the map. If you complete the side quests, you will be rewarded with a Spinel. In the original version, Spinels were an item to be exchanged for cash, but in the Remake they are used as a barter item.

Added Perks To Attache Cases

It has been revealed that there are multiple types of attache cases for storing items in the Remake, and that various effects such as "increase drop rate for handgun ammo" and "increase drop rate for handgun resources" are activated depending on the case used.
