Upgrade Powerful Handguns And Knife
Recommended Handguns
Use Blacktail or Red9 for mobs and travel then use Matilda for bosses for an easier run

Recommended Knife
Once you unlocked Primal Knife's Exclusive Upgrade, you do not need to mind durability when battling so it is recommended. It can also be used in Professional Mode so it is very beneficial to use.

Battles Can Be Done Without Charms Or Accessories
Some parts of the story will be a lot easier with powerful accessories. But so long as you have an upgraded weapon, you can still progress with the story smoothly.
Minimalist Trophy Guide - Strategy Points
- Play in "ASSISTED" Mode.
- Only use Knife and Handguns.
- Be careful not to run out of ammo.
Play In "ASSISTED" Mode (Difficulty)
Since you can only use Handgun and Knife to get Minimalist Trophy, it will be a lot easier when you play in Assisted Mode.
Use Knife And Handgun Only
Even Without Using It To Hit Enemies, You Cannot Use Other Weapon
You can only use knife and handgun. Shooting the air or using weapon to destroy items is considered using so make sure to not do it. Also, holding egg and similar weapon also counts as one so be careful.
Actions That Does Not Count
- Using weapons at Shooting range.
- The light at Ashley's part.
- Using the turret set by enemies (Gattling Gun).
- Rocket Launcher passed by Ada.
You Can Check The Number Of Uses At "Challenges" Window
You can check whether or not you used a different weapon at "Challenge" in options. Saving many times is also recommended just incase you accidentally used a weapon that is not allowed.
You Can Peek On Scopes
You can use scopes to peek for bugs or when with Regenerador using Biosensor. But be careful not to shoot using the rifle.

One of the difficult aspect of Minimalist is the management of Ammo. Make sure to buy a lot of Resources (S) and Gunpowder. Resources (S) can be bought at the Merchant as many times as you want.
Run Away From Unnecessary Battles
There is no need to battle every enemies that will appear, especially weak mobs. Ashley's armor makes this especially easier. Enemies that has a high HP like Regenerador and Verdugo can also be ignored.
