Comet Shard and Star Piece are high-selling monetary items at General Store. Both have no other uses, so if you get one, sell it as soon as you can.

Red Shard, Blue Shard, and Greed Shard are craft materials commonly found in the Space-Time Distortion and are used to combine with Stardust to create a Star Piece that sells for 5,000 Pokedollars. Note that the recipe is sold by a craft shop in the village when the story progresses to the Cobalt Coastlands.

Sellable crafting materials can be obtained in the "Space-Time Distortion". There is a low probability that you will be able to pick up Comet Shards and Star Piece but you can pick up a large number of colored Shards, so make sure to collect and craft them before selling them.

Throw Pokemon At The Black And Blue Ores In Each Area
There are black and blue veins in each area, and you can get craft materials by throwing your Pokemon at them. Among them, many pieces of Iron Chunks can be obtained from black ores, so be sure to get them when you see them.

If you go to a craft shop in Jubilife Village, you can buy Iron Chunk for 200 Pokedollars. It's a pain to collect, so if you have extra money to spare, you can buy it instead.
