The recommended natures to have are Naive or Hasty. Both decrease your defense but increase your Speed without penalizing your Attack. This is recommended if you want to use both Special and Physical moves of Dewott.

Steps For Choosing Starter Pokemon's Nature?

Start a new game and play to the point just before choosing your starter Pokemon
Disable autosave in the settings
Manually save the game.
Choose your starter Pokemon.
Check your starter Pokemon's nature.
If you did not get the nature you want, close the game and restart
Open the game, load your save, and repeat from step ④ until you get your desired nature.

Starter Pokemon Are Shiny Locked

When choosing your starter Pokemon while trying to change its nature, you cannot get a shiny variant while doing it. It is recommended to stop trying to change your starter Pokemon's nature once you get the nature that you want.

Remember To Disable Autosave

If autosave is enabled, you may not be able to return back to the point just before you select a starter Pokemon. Just before choosing your starter Pokemon be sure to remember to disable autosave in the settings.

Return To The Home Screen And Close The Game

Do not forget to save manually and disabling autosave just before choosing your starter Pokemon. If you have done this and are not satisfied with the nature you got after choosing your starter Pokemon, you can return to the home screen and close the game. Reopening the game will allow you to load back to your manual save to choose your starter Pokemon again and save time.
