Enemy-Specific Challenge
This challenge cannot be done with just any member of the Horde. It needs to be either a Poison Fiend or Exploding Brute!
What are Poison Fiends?
Poison Fiends have the ability to apply poison to players with their attack. When poisoned, those afflicted will suffer from continuous health damage over a few seconds.
What are Exploding Brutes?
Exploding Brutes have the uncanny ability to blow themselves up in an attempt to take down a player with them!

With the distance requirement for this challenge, you'll need weapons that can work even when you're a bit farther from your target. Versatile weapons, such as Assault Rifles are especially good for this.

Focus Fire on a Single Target
Focus on taking down a single target instead of spreading your shots across multiple ones. This will raise the chance that the elimination will count towards instead of a teammate!
Move Backwards to Keep Distance
With melee-based Fiends and Brutes, walk backwards as they approach you to keep your distance against them. You can also sprint away for a few seconds to create distance before shooting them down again.
