Zipline Locations Guide
Season 8 Zipline Locations
There are multiple ziplines that can be found in the map! There are at least 2 or 3 in every biome for you to use.
Expedition Posts Guarantee a Zipline
Expedition Posts always have a zipline nearby. Although there are less Expedition Posts now in Season 8, there are still some left that you can go to find a zipline.
Zipline - Features & Abilities
Travel Between Points
Ziplines have 2 ends that you can travel back and forth to freely. They have unlimited use so you can keep using them even if another player has already rode it first.
No Fall Damage
Once you use a zipline, you will be exempt from fall damage. Jumping off from it, no matter the height, will not result in your health taking a hit at all.
Can Use Weapons, Items While Using Ziplines
Players are free to use weapons and different items as they're traveling on the Zipline. It's entirely possible to shoot down enemies or throw a grenade while on it.
Healing Items Cannot be Used while Riding Ziplines
However, healing items such as Shield Potions and Medkits, cannot be used when on the Zipline. You can select them in your inventory and hold them, but you can't just use them.
Zipline Gameplay Tips
Better to Fall than Open Glider when Escaping
If you're using the Zipline to escape, don't stay on it till the end because you're an easy target while on it. Instead, jump off at a random point to throw off enemies. Don't use your Glider either! Just fall down since you're safe from fall damage.
Check for Enemies While on Zipline
You can turn a full 360 degrees while on the zipline and you can use that to your advantage. Scout out any enemies nearby while on the Zipline as you're moving. You can choose to engage or simply be on your way.
Use Hitscan Weapons to Shoot Enemies while Moving
If you do choose to engage while on a zipline, use a weapon that can easily be used when in motion. Hitscan weapons, such as Assault Rifles and Handguns, can hit targets immediately as long as they're in your crosshairs.
