Acquired Early In The Game
The LEMI is a handgun given out automatically during the early stages of the game. Once you enter the village and enter a survivor's house, you will be given this handgun via a cutscene.

LEMI - Tips & How To Use
Upgrade When Possible
As your earliest weapon, the LEMI can be a bit underwhelming. However, once you gain the attachments and enough Lei to upgrade it, it can be a pretty formidable handgun. It has a decent capacity and the damage output can carry you till you unlock the late-game pistol, the V61 Custom.
High-Capacity Handgun
The LEMI can be upgraded to have a decent magazine size. This grants you great staying power especially if you're fighting multiple enemies in the field. You can also increase it further with the help of the High-Capacity Magazine attachment.
