Difficulty Levels & Max Difficulty
Difficulty | Level Details |
---|---|
Casual | Recommended level for beginners. This difficulty mode lets players enjoy the storyline, gameplay, and puzzles without too much struggle in defeating enemies in the game. |
Standard | A great level for players who appreciate the sense of accomplishment in defeating difficult enemies. This mode is best for those who have played the game before and are good with action controls. |
Hardcore | This level is for those who want the thrill of being in imminent danger with little chances to escape. This is recommended for players who don't mind putting extra effort into the game. |
Village of Shadows | The most difficult level of the game and is accessible after clearing the game. Purchase the Trauma Pack DLC to be able to play it right from the start. This may be the "Madhouse" of RE8. |
