Story Walkthrough Chart

| 1 | Join your allies as soon as you get control of Chris Redfield |
| 2 | A Lycan will come to attack as you move on the right end of the path. Keep moving as you attempt to fight back. *Stay cautious of enemies that attack with burning arrows |
| 3 | Collect supplies as you go. They're often marked by the misty green light. |
| 4 | A Lycan will appear again as you pass through the gate. You may be able to still pass even without killing it |
| 5 | You'll encounter a fork in the road as you go down the steps. Begin by collecting supplies at the abandoned house on your left |
| 6 | A Lycan will attack you as you enter the house. You'll be able to pass through without killing it |
| 7 | The burning path on the right will force you to fight several Lycans on the way *It may be troublesome to pass through this, but we recommend you still do so because you'll be able to collect more supplies on the way |
| 8 | You'll start to see the castle as you proceed deeper into the map. Use your target locator to hit the surrounding trees around it |
| 9 | Several enemies will come to attack you as you do this, so defeat them first and continue shooting at the castle *Utilize the supplies and bombs you get from the various houses you pass through along the way |
| 10 | After shooting at the direction of the castle around 3 times, the trees will disappear. When this happens, move on |
| 11 | Go underground to pick up supplies and follow the path |
| 12 | Go deeper down the path and get ready to face Urias Strajer ▶ Check out tips to fight Urias Strajer |
| 13 | Proceed through the cave and you'll eventually trigger a cutscene |
| 14 | After the cutscene, move toward the white lake on your right. Take a close look behind the statue to find a goat behind it. |
| 15 | You'll see stairs leading to Miranda's lab. Do take a look because you'll find a lot of info on certain characters in the game |
| 16 | Shoot the lock on the prison-like bars and enter the room to trigger a cutscene |
| 17 | Ethan wakes up and story proceeds to Chapter 8 ▶ See the walkthrough for Chapter 8: Ceremony Site |
Pick Up Supplies & Ammo
Don't miss the chance to pick up items at the area with a misty green light. You'll be able to pick up ammo and grenades - all very useful for your battles in this chapter.
Watch Out For Burning Arrows
Some enemies will attack from high up using their bows amped with burning arrows. You can easily get hurt without realizing it, so try not to stay at one area for too long to avoid getting hit.
Use Grenades For Hordes
Monsters will come in hordes, and simple gunshots to each one of them won't suffice. Use Flash Grenades to inflict damage and take the chance to move on.
Regular Enemies: Aim For The Head
One of the best ways to attack these regular enemies is to aim for their heads to kill them in 1-2 shots.
Shoot At Castle 3x With Target Locator
When you get close enough to the castle, you'll be able to shoot at it with the target locator. Shoot it around 3 times to proceed. Note that enemies will come in hordes as you do this, so make sure you're ready to fight them off.
Do This As Quickly As You Can
The enemies will keep coming in hordes even if you manage to defeat the first bunch. Because of this, do your best to shoot at the castle quickly so as to not get overwhelmed by a huge number of foes.
Aim For Urias Strajer's Back
The mace-wielding enemy looks ferocious, but you'll be able to afflict damage on it if you aim for its back. Target the stringy area, and make sure to brace yourself by guarding whenever it attempts to make a hit!
Use Target Locator
During the battle, you'll be prompted to use the Target Locator to call for support fire. If you can't aim for its back, aim for its torso to make a devastating blow.

Goat Is Behind Statue By The White Lake
After the cutscene, you'll see a white lake to your right with a statue right by it. Look behind the statue and you'll find a goat by its feet.
