Mia Winters is the wife of Ethan, and is also a returning character from the previous game in the franchise. This time around, she is living a quiet and peaceful life with her husband when something goes wrong and prompts him to head to the titular Village. Perhaps it has something to do with their newborn daughter, Rosemary?
