The Warhammer "Cranial Vessel Candlestand" Is Highly Recommended

The Unique Skill "Surge of Faith" of the Warhammer "Cranial Vessel Candlestand" can deal massive damage when used close to the boss. If you find it in the field, make it a top priority to secure it.

5.If the fog & an ice wall appear above, quickly search for the boss
6.If it inhales air, look for an ice pillar
7.Dodge the ice chunk attacks from the air by rolling

Fissure in the Fog (Caligo) in Nightreign has many weaknesses; with a proper strategy, you can easily beat the boss, such as moving out of the attack range or dodging attacks by rolling.

Basically, Attack At The Boss' Rear Feet

Since Fissure in the Fog often attacks forward, position your character near the legs where it is vulnerable. However, there are attacks like Tale Sweep or Ice Storm that cover the boss itself. It can also deal damage near the legs,. So, make sure to constantly check its movement while in combat.

Move To Avoid Frostbite

One of its attacks will create ice crystals on the ground. Stepping on them will build up the Frostbite, so move carefully, and pay attention to your feet so you can avoid them.

Dodge Breath Attacks

Fissure in the Fog frequently uses breath attacks. It has a wide attack range in front, you can distance yourself by moving left or right to dodge its attack. Another option is, if you absolutely cannot avoid it, wait for a good timing and then try to roll to evade the attack.

Move Away When It Starts Inhaling Air

Fissure in the Fog, after inhaling air, the boss will generate an ice storm.. When it starts to inhale, make sure to move far away from the boss.

Quickly Search For The Boss Once The Sky Of Ice Appeared

If the surroundings are covered in fog, the sky will start to freeze, creating a massive ice layer in the sky that gives a wide range of ice attacks. Only the area around the boss is safe, so make sure to search for the enemies, and move closer to it. If you can't make it on time, make sure you have enough recovery materials for your HP.

Once The Fog Is Up Look For The Ice Pillar

If the surroundings are covered in fog and air starts being sucked into one spot, a full-area breath attack will occur. An ice pillar will be placed on the field, and you can avoid the breath attack by staying behind it. However, if you get too close to the ice pillar, you'll be hit by the breath attack, so stay away from the ice pillar as well while waiting.

Dodge The Ice Attacks From The Air By Rolling

Once it gathers ice in mid-air, it will perform an attack that launches ice chunks. The attack range will be wide, and it will be difficult to evade it even with large movements, so it is recommended to dodge it by rolling to the ground.
