Effect- Switching Weapons Boost Attack Power
- Improved Throwing Knife Damage
- Vigor +1

Defeating the tutorial boss, Fell Omen, rewards you with the Relic 'Fell Omen Fetish' at the Roundtable Hold. You can equip Relics from the Relic Rites menu at the Roundtable Hold.

Relic Effects and How to Get Them

Equipable Only in Blue Slots

Relics can only be equipped if the Relic's trait color matches the character's slot color. Since the 'Fell Omen Fetish' has a blue trait, it can only be equipped by characters with blue slots.

How to Reach the Tutorial Boss

Collect 21,818 Runes

Collect Ruins to Level Up

In the tutorial, you can level up before the boss, but you need at least 21,818 Runes to do so. Make sure to defeat enough enemies along the way to collect the required Runes before moving forward.

Use Cold Katar as Weapon

For the boss fight, the Cold Katar is recommended because it deals high damage with the frost status effect. You can obtain it after starting the tutorial by following the path, crossing the bridge, and opening the chest located after climbing the wall.

Lordsworn's Fire Straight Sword

Frost status is quickly removed by fire affinity attacks, so you can deal heavy damage by looping 'Hoarfrost Stomp → Flaming Strike to Remove → Hoarfrost Stomp.' The Lordsworn's Fire Straight Sword can be obtained at the castle near where you find the Cold Katar.

Equip Rogier's Rapier in the Left Hand

Use Rogier Rapier

Equip Rogier's Rapier, which you obtain alongside the Lordsworn's Fire Straight Sword, in your left hand. It periodically releases magic attacks, dealing steady damage to the boss over time.

Tutorial Boss Strategy and Tips

  1. Dodge the Opening Attack With a Dash
  2. Ultimate Art → Critical Hit Combo
  3. Skip Reviving Duchess If Needed
  4. Tutorial Over After Two Deaths

Dodge the Opening Attack

When you enter the boss area, the fight begins with a drop attack accompanied by a voice line. As soon as you hear the line, dash to the side to avoid the hit. Focus on dodging this opening attack first.

Ultimate Art → Critical Hit Combo

Onslaught Stake

[Charge-Up Attack]
+ Hold

Fires a powerful blast, dealing heavy damage. Charging the attack increases its power and expands the attack range.

Wylder's Ultimate Art deals heavy damage and is great for breaking the enemy's stance. While it's active, Wylder enters Vow of the Indomitable, allowing you to safely get close and land a charged attack. If it connects well, you can break their stance and follow up with Critical Strikes for even greater damage.

Wylder Class Skill, Ability & Art

Charge Ultimate Art via Time & Attacks

Ultimate Art charges through attacks, and as time passes during combat. If you're close to filling the gauge, it's better to play defensively and wait. Once charged, activate it and use the 'Vow of the Indomitable' duration to go on the offensive safely.

Skip Reviving Duchess If Needed

Skip Rescue

When Duchess is knocked out, she goes down with two revival bars. Since trying to revive her can leave you open to heavy damage, it's often safer to leave her and focus on a one-on-one fight with the Fell Omen.

Revive Using Ultimate Art

Wylder's Ultimate Art can instantly revive a downed Duchess with a single hit. Since using Ultimate Art just to revive Duchess can be wasteful, it's recommended to lure the Fell Omen near the downed Duchess and revive her by hitting both with the Ultimate Art.

Tutorial Over After Two Deaths

Tutorial End After 2nd Death

The tutorial ends after two total party wipes. After your first wipe, you restart just in front of the boss area without the boss's HP being restored, so the fight resumes from where you left off. However, note that Duchess will disappear after the first wipe.
