Always Collect Sacred Flasks at Churches

Church

On Day 1, be sure to visit two Churches to increase your maximum number of Sacred Flasks to 5. Increasing the number of usable Sacred Flasks significantly boosts your survival rate, making Churches a top priority.

Level Up at Campsite and Ruins

Affinity Castle

Defeat bosses in Campsite or Ruins that you can visit while moving to the safe zone to level up. You can also aim for weapons with elemental weaknesses, so check the Affinity icons on the map and go for them. However, if a boss takes too long or is a difficult enemy, it's okay to skip them and prioritize collecting Stonesword Keys.

Collect Stonesword Keys

Altar Treasure

If you pass near a Great Church while traveling, be sure to collect only the Stonesword Key. Stonesword Keys can often be found in treasure chests near the altar of a Great Church. You can significantly power up by leveling up, obtaining High Rare equipment, and acquiring Dormant Power in Evergaols.

Central Castle if it's in the Safe Zone

Crucible Day 1

After the first Shrink, if the central Castle is within the safe zone and the enemy layout primarily consists of Crucible Knights or Lost Knights, you can attempt to clear the Castle on Day 1. If it seems to risky, it's fine to save it for Day 2. Also, if the enemies are Trolls, it can take a long time to defeat them, so it's better to save it for Day 2.

Day 2 Location and Strategies

Day 2 Strategies and Target Level

  3. Head towards the final safe zone while visiting bosses, Evergaols, etc.
      - If there are Churches en route, always collect Sacred Flasks.
  4. Defeat the Day 2 boss.

The main strategy for Day 2 in Nightreign is to defeat Formidable Great Enemies. Strengthen your Forces by visiting the Central Castle and Evergaols along the way, and collect Sacred Flasks. Reaching level 12 or higher before the Day 2 boss fight will make the battle considerably easier.

Defeat Formidable Great Enemies to Level Up

Formidable Great Enemy

On Day 2, focus on defeating "Formidable Great Enemies," which are indicated by red boss icons on the map. Many of these bosses are very strong and troublesome, but in return, the amount of Runes you can obtain is large, and the equipment and Dormant Power you can acquire are often powerful.

Continue to Collect Sacred Flasks

Church Increase Flask

While defeating Formidable Great Enemies, if there are any unvisited Churches nearby, be sure to collect Sacred Flasks. The more Sacred Flasks you have, the easier it will be to progress, so actively collect them.

Level Up & Obtain Equipment at the Central Castle

Day 1 and Day 2

If you didn't clear the central Castle on Day 1, do so on Day 2. You can earn a large amount of Runes by defeating bosses and Great Enemies one after another. Additionally, acquiring Dormant Power from multiple bosses and collecting treasure chests will lead to strengthening your Forces.

Level Up & Obtain Equipment at Evergaols

Evergaol

If you have Stonesword Keys, be sure to visit Evergaols as well. You can obtain a large amount of Runes, High Rare equipment, and Dormant Power.

Significantly Strengthen Forces with Shifting Earth

Shifting Earth Event

Once Day 2 begins and your level is sufficiently high, you can also try tackling Shifting Earth events. By obtaining the benefit from each Shifting Earth, you can significantly strengthen your Forces. Clearing Shifting Earth events often takes time, so decide whether to tackle them or not while considering the location of the final safe zone and travel time.
