- Fight with Holy Affinity Weapons
- Weakness Affinity & applies Attack/Defense debuffs - Fire and Physical Damage Reduction
- Purchase Warming Stones, etc.
- Increase the Number of Sacred Flasks
Fight with Holy Affinity Weapons
Tricephalos is weak to Holy Affinity. Additionally, continuously hitting it with Holy Affinity attacks will apply Attack and Defense debuffs. It also frightened the moment the debuff is applied, so fighting with Holy Affinity weapons is recommended.
Holy Affinity Weapons are Easy to Obtain

The Affinity is displayed at the bottom right of the base icon on the map. Holy Affinity weapons are easier to obtain at bases displaying the Holy Affinity, so be sure to clear them by the last day.
Fire and Physical Damage Reduction
Tricephalos has powerful Fire and physical attacks where it swings a Greatsword with a chain. If you choose durable Passive Effects, Dormant Powers, or Talismans, Fire or Physical resist will reduce damage taken
Purchase Warming Stones, etc.
In the area just before the boss, you can purchase various items with Runes. The more Heal methods you have, the easier it is to clear, so purchase as much as possible.
How to Farm RunesIncrease the Number of Sacred Flasks

To increase the number of Heals, make sure to increase the number of Sacred Flasks. Sacred Flasks can be increased at a Church, and you can check their locations on the map.
Church LocationsTricephalos (Gladius) Boss Strategy and Attack Patterns
Guarding with a Shield is Effective
Many of Tricephalos's attacks are fast and have a wide range, making them difficult to dodge until you learn the timing.Nightreign shields generally have 100% physical damage negation so, if you have a shield, focus on guarding instead of trying to dodge.
Seperate When it Splits
After Tricephalos transforms, it splits into 3. These three share a health bar, but the tricky part is that they attack separately, so it's best for each person to handle one, being careful not to involve allies in area attacks, and without overextending.
Use Duchess Finale
By timing Duchess's Ultimate Art "Finale" with the split, you can attack without being targeted. It's also useful for regrouping, so assess when to use it.
Duchess Class GuideDodge Attacks by Moving Sideways
Tricephalos's fire breath has a very fast timing and reaches quite far, which is troublesome. If you're in the middle of an attack, you might not be able to dodge in time, but if you see fire in its mouth, shift your axis from the direct line and dodge sideways.
Watch for its Mouth
If Tricephalos's mouth glows blue, it's a sign of a grab attack. It cannot be blocked by guarding, but its attack range is only in front of Tricephalos, so dodge by creating distance.
