Small Jar Bazaar Guide

Go on Expeditions to Get Murk to Buy Besmirched Frame

If you don't have enough Murk to purchase the Besmirched Frame, go on Expeditions to collect Murk. The further you progress in the game, such as by defeating the Nightlord, the more Murk you can obtain.

Speak to the Phantom at the Roundtable Hold

Speak to the Phantom at the Roundtable Hold

After purchasing the Besmirched Frame, speak to the Phantom located northeast within Roundtable Hold. This will trigger a battle with the Night Idol.

Defeating the Night Idol Unlocks the Revenant

When you defeat the Night Idol, a custscene will play, and the Revenant will be unlocked. There are no penalties to losing to it, so keep trying as many times as you want.

Recommended to Run With Ironeye

The character that is best to use against the Night Idol is Ironeye. First, defeat all the mobs from a distance to create a one-on-one fight with the Night Idol. If you only shoot the Night Idol from a distance, it will keep evading, so luring it closer and attacking will make it easier.

Ultimate Art Can Revive Allies

The Revenant's Ultimate Art can instantly revive fallen allies and Summon Spirits and make them invulnerable for the next 15 seconds. Its strength is that it can turn the situation around even if you are alone.

Summon Spirits are Excellent Decoys

The Summon Spirits from the Revenant's Character Skill not only join the battle, but are also excellent as decoys. While they are drawing the enemy's attention, allies can attack safely.

Is the Revenant Strong?

Revenant How to Use & Gameplay

The Revenant excels at supporting allies with its Character Skill and Ultimate Art. Use the Character Skill's spirit as decoys, and revive fallen allies with its Ultimate Arts. Since its Incantation Scaling is S-rank, fighting with Incantations is recommended.

Always Fight Using Spirits as Decoys

The Spirits summoned by the Revenant are excellent as decoys. Basically, always summon them when entering combat. However, since the Spirits' HP recovery is slow, switch to another Spirit when their HP gets somewhat low to reduce the burden.

Frederick is Especially Easy to Use

The Summon Frederick can knock back knight-type enemies. It also has moderate durability and mobility, so it's the easiest to use among the spirits.

Revive Allies With Ultimate Arts

When the Revenant uses its Ultimate Art, it revives downed allies. Using an Ultimate Art will make both the player and their allies invulnerable for 15 seconds. During bosses, use this time to brute force and deal a burst of damage.

Pick Up a Sacred Seal at the Great Church

Pick Up a Sacred Seal at the Great Church

Since the Revenant has S-rank Incantation Scaling, it's easy to deal high damage with Incantations. Sacred Seals can be obtained from chests in the Great Church and from bosses, so head there as a top priority.

Sorcery can Also be a Compromise

If you get a high-performance stave while farming for a good Sacred Seal, playing mainly with Sorcery is also an option. Its Intelligence Scaling is B so if you want to deal high damage, try to focus on optimizing your incantations.

Use Blood Loss/Frostbite Weapons

When you run out of FP, it is recommended to use Blood Loss or Forstbite weapons. The Revenant has scaling that makes it difficult to deal high damage with simple weapons, but Blood Loss and Frostbite deal percentage damage so they can cover this to some extent.

Purchase FP Recovery Items

The Revenant will mainly fight with Incantations in the Nightlord battle. In the shop, be sure to purchase FP recovery items, such as Starlight Shards.

Best Weapons & Talismans for Revenant

Best Weapons for Revenant

For the Revenant, the best weapons are the Frenzied Flame Seal and the Dragon Communion Seal since they can cast high damage Incatations. For melee weapons, the faith-focused Coded Sword or Halo Scythe are recommended since they are capable of ranged attacks.

Best Talisman for Revenant

Since the Revenant has very high Faith, Incantation-boosting Talismans are recommended. Its Low HP can be supplemented with Talismans that increase it.

Revenant's Ability, Skill & Ultimate Art

Revenant's Passive Ability

Necromancy
Raise enemy ghosts to fight as allies. Ghosts are summoned to fight, but are fleeting and dissipate after some time. Detonate corpses by holding the summon command.

Revenant Character Skill

Summon Spirit
+
: Activate

Play lyre to summon fallen family to rally in battle. Choose to summon Helen the agile page, Frederick the burly cook, or Sebastian the doting butler.

Helen

Helen has swift attacks and a high attack rate. Her durability is the lowest among the three, so her performance as a decoy is lower than the others.

Frederic

Frederic has slower, but more powerful attacks with its huge swings. His durability is the middle between the three summons, but he can knock back enemies making him great in chaotic battles.

Sebastian

Sebastian has wide range attacks and high durability. He's best at taking hits amongst the spirits, but he cannot move so be mindful of his placement.

Revenant Ultimate Art

Immortal March
+
: Activate

Releases vengeful ire to make self and nearby allies immortal. Revives near-death allies and transforms ally into immortal warriors.

The Revenant's Ultimate Art can revive downed allies, making it extremely powerful during boss battles. Allies and Spirits can withstand attacks, maintaining 1HP for about 15 seconds. During this invulnerability, it's best to push aggressively to deal as much damage as you can.
