Devil May Cry 5 will be making its way to next-gen consoles in the form of a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X port! This enhanced version of the game will be compatible with the PS5's DualSense, letting players have a richer, more tactile experience via the use of haptic feedback.
In addition to seeing major improvements in the form of reduced load times, as well as graphical and 3D audio upgrades, the revival of this beloved game will bring along with it new content in the form of a new playable character: Vergil!
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition: Overview of New Features
- A new "Vergil Mode" added, allowing you to play as Vergil
- "Turbo Mode", letting you play the game at 1.2 speed
- A hyper-difficult "Legendary Dark Knight Mode" with tons of monsters
- Ray tracing added to better simulate the reflections of light on surfaces
- High Frame Mode added, allowing play at up to 120 FPS
- Will include DLC that was previously a pre-order bonus of the original game or sold separately

Story Overview
Several years after the Order of the Sword incident... An unusual phenomenon suddenly appears in Red Grave City. A gigantic tree pierces through the surface in the middle of town, attacking with roots that drain the poor citizens of their blood. Young Devil Hunter Nero races into Red Grave aboard the mobile Devil May Cry vehicle with his partner Nico, a self-styled "artisan of arms" who provides Nero with his new weapons.
