Mission 9 - Walkthrough Chart

1After the cutscene, move through the gorge until you encounter the Behemoth
2Defeat Behemoth & other enemies in the area to open up your path
3Continue onward & find the path on the left - go through it until you reach a wide area
4Defeat the enemies that spawn in the wide area to move forward
5Move past the wide area, turn right and go down until you reach a deep enclave
6Go through the enclave and into a narrow hallway - defeat enemies here to open your path
7Move forward and jump into the hole on the ground
8Find the doorway and go through to reach a small ravine
9Go up the small ravine into an enclosed area - destroy enemies here to unlock your path
10Continue into the doorway and up towards an open area for a cutscene
11Defeat the Death Scissors to open up your path
12Move onward until you reach the red telephone booth
13Go to the next area to start a cutscene and encounter a group of Nobody

Watch Out For Behemoth's Mouth Tentacles

Devil May Cry 5 Watch Out For Behemoth

Behemoth's mouth tentacles appear when you break down its armor. Watch out as these make its rush attacks have a wider range, making it more difficult to avoid. Lock onto the Behemoth to dodge out of the way of its attacks.

Go Near Shadow & Griffon To Heal Them

Behemoth can instantly down Shadow or Griffon if its attacks connect. Be sure to go near their orbs to heal them and bring them back into battle.

3. Summon Nightmare To Break Dead End

When you encounter the dead end, you can easily break the wall by summoning Nightmare. His appearance will destroy the debris, clearing your path to the next area.

When you reach the dead end wall with posters on it, summon Nightmare to break it down. The Gold Orb can be found floating in the air after the debris clears.

When you reach the open area, check to your right to find the Gold Orb. It's by the edge of the broken bridge.

5., 8. Blue Orb Fragment Locations - Tips

Find Blue Orb Fragment To Left Of Path

After you defeat the enemies in this area, move forward a bit until the path diverges. Summon Nightmare in the path to the left to break the roots and get into a small arena - you'll find the Blue Orb Fragment in the middle.

8. Blue Orb Fragment Is Above Small Ravine

Once you exit the doorway, locate the small ledges you can jump on across you. Use these to go up onto a larger ledge at the top of the small ravine. This is where the Blue Orb Fragment is hidden.

7. Break Door With Posters To Find Purple Orb Fragment

Before exiting through the doorway, find the door with posters to the left of the room. Summon Nightmare to break down the door then defeat the enemies inside to find the Purple Orb Fragment.

In this fight, another Behemoth will spawn. It's best to summon Nightmare to help you down this powerful demon without receiving too much damage.

Once you reach the red telephone booth, use it to summon Nico's Van. Customize V, power up your Familiars and Nightmare to prepare for the upcoming boss fight in the next area.

You'll face a group of enemies called "Nobody" in this fight. The best way to fight them is to focus fire on one until you defeat them, then move onto another. This makes the battle more streamlines and speedy.

Nightmare has powerful attacks that can do burst damage onto a Nobody. Summon Nightmare when your DT gauge is full to help you bring down the number of Nobody you're fightining.

Eyeballs Have AoE Damage When They Explode

Devil May Cry 5 Eyeballs Have AoE Damage When They Explode

Nobodies will launch eyeballs at you and these explode. Dodge away from them as they deal area-of-effect damage.
