Mission 10 - Walkthrough Chart
| 1 | Control switches to Dante for this Mission |
|---|---|
| 2 | Follow after Lady & Trish. Defeat the enemies in the closed-off area |
| 3 | Head to Lady's location. Kill all the demons that spawns there |
| 4 | Continue down the tunnel |
| 5 | Defeat the Barbed Discord, Chaos demons |
| 6 | Continue forward until you get to another circular area. Eliminate the scissor-wielding enemies before the passage closes |
| 7 | Continue down the pathway. Another group of enemies will appear for you to defeat |
| 8 | Keep moving forward until you get to a hallway-like place. Defeat another Chaos monster and its companions |
| 9 | Move forward and jump down to the next area |
| 10 | Defeat the Insanity Ablaze, Hellbat and the Praying Mantis monster |
| 12 | Continue down the pathway |
| 13 | Jump up the platforms to head on to the next area |
| 14 | Defeat the sworld-wielding enemies |
| 15 | Continue moving forward |

Mission 10 Tips & Tricks
1. Play as Dante - Tips
Chance to Practice Dante's Play Style
This mission is set-up to let you get a feel and practice Dante's game style. Enemies at the beginning of the mission will be relatively weaker to make it easier for you to get a hang of it.

Dante has a multitude of weapons and styles that you can switch between in the midst of the fight freely. Switch up your styles and combo them together to get higher Stylish rankins!

Across the pathways, you can find different orb chunks and trees that you can strike to collect orbs. Try to get as much of them as you can to be able to buy new moves for Dante from the Shop.

Collect Blue Orb Fragment After Fight
After your fight with the Hell Antenoras. The red pulsating door will open. Enter this doorway, and follow the path. When it ends, there will be a Blue Orb Fragment to the ledge on your left.

Collect A Purple Orb Fragment
Just before the hallway-like area, there will be a hole on the right side of the wall. It will be landmarked by a Red Orb blob. Enter the area. You will need to fight an Empusa Queen before the Purple Orb Fragment appears.

Collect Gold Orb Before Leaving Area
There is a small opening in the arena that opens once you defeat the 2 monsters. Inside you can find multiple red orb chunks and a Gold Orb! Make sure to get them before leaving.

Use Guns While It's in Spin Mode
The Chaos Demon is invulnerable to melee attacks while it is in its spin mode. Shoot it down with your guns instead to deal damage to it, while also stopping its momentum.
Strike While the Chaos Demon is Down
The Chaos Demon will leave its invulnerable spin mode if it crashes in a wall or if you do enough damage to destroy its armor. Once it's down, it's open for attacks!
Insanity Ablaze, Hellbat Boss Tips & Strategy
Shoot Down with Guns or Use Swords
The Hellbat is out of the usual range as it hovers above ground. You can reach it by jumping out and using your sword or shooting it down from a distance with your guns.
Defeat Smaller Bats First
Make the battle easier by making it a 1v1 instead. Focus on the smaller bats instead of the Hellbat to get rid of them first. This way, you won't have to worry about getting attacked while doing combos to the Hellbat.
Hellbat Blows Up when Defeated
Once the Hellbat is down, move away quickly! It will pullsate before blowing up in a fiery explosion. Stay clear if you want to save your health bar.
Urizen Boss Tips & Strategy
Urizen Cannot be Defeated
No matter how much you try, this battle was designed for Dante to lose. You can deal as much damage to Urizen as you can, but the outcome will stay the same.
Steer Clear of Time Slowing Bubble
If you get caught in the Time Slowing Bubble, focus on getting out of it as soon as possible! Staying inside will leave you vulnerable to attacks as your movements are relatively slowed down.
Jump Up to Avoid Horizontal Laser
Urizen will call forth a laser every now and then in the battle that will sweep across the battlefield horizontal. You can easily escape from it by jumping up, but keep track of its sweep as it goes back and forth.
