1. Before Starting The Missions - Tips
Customize Before Starting The Mission
Before the mission starts, make sure that you have bought enough items, and upgrades to sustain you for the fight.
Urizen Boss Tips & Strategy

Urizen will be vulnerable when he is summoning the obstacles that you need to avoid. When he starts to summon his ranged attacks, get in close, get a few good hits in, then get ready to evade!
Devil Trigger Does Significant Damage
Be sure to save up your Devil Trigger in this fight as it will be a huge help in combat. It will deal tons of damage to Urizen, so make the limited time you are in Demon Form count.
Watch Out For Urizen's Ice Pillars
Urizen will summon ice pillars to come up from the ground to damage you. This is telegraphed by the ground beneath you starting to emit a blue aura. When this happens step forward or backwards.
Urizen Will Rain Down Bullets From Above
Urizen will also telegraph a ranged attack by summoning pink bullets in front of him. When the bullets fly upwards, get ready to jump away from your position as it will usually hit there.
Urizen Will Teleport Around The Map
Urizen also has the ability to teleport around the map. He will start to blur himself before he teleports toward you. When this happens dodge backward to avoid getting pounded to the ground.
Jump Over Lasers That Rotate Around The Map
Later on, Urizen will occasionally create two pink lasers that will rotate around the map. These lasers will damage you when it comes in contact with Dante. However, they can easily be dodged by jumping over it when it is beneath you.
Shoot Down The Sword Projectiles Urizen Summons
Urizen will summon a V formation of projectiles that will attack you after a brief pause. During this pause, you can shoot down these bullets in order to avoid less of them later.
Stay Away From The Ice Sphere
There is also a slow blue sphere that Urizen creates that follows you around. Once it hits the ground, it will create a field that will damage your when inside it. Stay away from it when fighting Urizen.
