What Is Tombstone Perk?

Save Your Items For The Next Game

You can save your items to come back and get on your next run. When you die with this perk activated, a tombstone with all your items will spawn at where you died the next time you are deployed in Zombies.

Best To Use Situations

It is helpful when you want to save time collecting items and Essence. You can spend time focusing on collecting what you need for your next objective, die on purpose, then collect your stash in the next game. This will allow you to get a head start with everything you need from the beginning.

Where To Get Tombstone Perk

Loot Cache

There is always a chance to obtain Tombstone Soda Cans from Loot Caches scattered around the map. They are quite rare but you will eventually find some vararity of a Perk-a-Cola and if it's a Tombstone Soda Can, you will want to Exfil that for later use.

Tombstone Soda Machines

You can purchase Tombstone Soda Cans at the Tombstone Soda Machines, which you can find on the map. However these will cost 2,000 Essence and the machines spawn randomly, so only use this method if you really need one immediately.

Contract Rewards

You are also likely to find some vararity of a Perk-a-Cola as a reward when you complete a contract. Again, this is completely random so if you find one, always make sure what kind of Perk-a-Cola it is and stow anything you want for later use.

Craft With Schematics

The best way to obtain Tombstone Soda Cans are to craft them. However this requires obtaining the schematics for this specific item first. There isn't a definite way to obtain it as they are random and very rare, but please see our guide below if you want to collect schematics including this one.

How To Use Tombstone Perk

Go Back To Last Location After Death

Consume Tombstone Soda

Consume the Tombstone Soda when you want to save your items and Essence for your next game.

Start The Next Game

Start your next game and you will find your Tombstone marked on the map. Other players can physically see your Tombstone but they won't be able to collect your stash, so don't worry.

Go Back To Your Last Location

Once you start the next game, you will see your Tombstone on the map where you died in the previous game. Head there immediately to grab everything you had in your rucksack. However, remember that you always spawn in a random location, so it could be a long way to get there.
