How To Get Gold Pill Bottle

1. Add Brain Rot Ammo Mod On Weapon

The Pill Bottle pedestal is marked with a Skull which indicates the same mark as the Brain Rot Ammo Mod. Use the Brain Rot Ammo Mod on your weapon.

2. Go To An Aether Nest And Shoot A Cyst

You need to shoot a Cyst in an Aether Nest with Brain Rot Ammo, but do not break the Cyst. Just shoot it once and it will turn green. Once it changes color, interact with it to obtain a Purple Pill Bottle.

3. Head Through Nearest Aether Tear And Head Through Green Rift

Jump through a nearby purple Aether Tear that you can find. While flying with the parachute, look for an Green Rift which you will want to fly straight through.

What Is Aether Tear?

Aether Tear is a purple shining light, which when touched will shoot you high in the sky. It will not show on the map until you get close to it, so keep an eye out on the map.

4. Find Purple Bounty Contract

When looking around the area, you will find a Purple Bounty Contract. You will find a transmission with green smoke coming out of it. After you activate the transmission, the bounty will be blue.

5. Complete And Receive Gold Pill Bottle

Defeat the creature that appears from the bounty and when you complete the mission, you will receive the Gold Pill Bottle.

Sigil To Unlock Dark Aether Rift

The Pill Bottle is a Sigil that you will place on top of a Rift Pedestal with a Skull Mark on it.

Gather 4 Key Items To Spawn A Mawloom

There are also 3 other keys, making 4 in total. By placing all 4 keys on the correct pedestal you summon a Mawloom, an enemy that drops a Sigil which is used to open The Dark Aethal Rift.

With Just The Pill Bottle, The Dark Aether Rift Won't Open

There are a total of 4 Sigils, and you will need to have all 4 with you to open the Dark Aether Rift. The Pill Bottle by itself will not unlock the Rift.

Do NOT Place The Pill Bottle Until You Have All 4

To unlock the Dark Aether Rift, you will need 4 Sigils that match each of the markings on the Pedestals. When you place the Pill Bottle on the Pedestal, you will not be able to pick it back up and it will disappear in the next match. Due to this, do not place the Pill Bottle on the pedestal until you have all 4 Sigils.

How To Use Pill Bottle

There are a total of 4 Pedestals for the Dark Aether Rift, which are all marked differently. A Skull, Ice, Flame, and Lightning indicates what type of Sigil is needed. Place the Pill Bottle on the one with the Skull.

Dark Aether Rift Location

The Dark Aether Rift is marked as a triangle on the map in Zombies. When you get close to it, it will look like a purple tornado type smoke.
