I am at level 58 in borderlands 3 and still gaining exp ever since game itself updated on my Xbox

Max is 57, no longer 53. I went from 53 to 57 on TVHM and Mayhem 4 in roughly 5 hours. I started towards the end of the main story, when Typhon leads you through the vaults, and hit 57 before I got to Tyreen. Super tough battles.
