Roll your way to victory! A new vehicle is coming into Fortnite and it is a definite ball. The Baller will get you to where you need to be while keeping you safe from enemy fire.
Baller Features

- Player is secured as long as he is inside
Released with v8.1 Patch Update
The Baller was rolled out as part of the v8.1 Patch Update released March 2019. It can be found across all game modes right now.

The body attack of baller has caused damage till v8.20 but Epic Games decided to make a change on the damage mechanics of the Baller.
Changes To The Baller
- The Baller no longer applies damage to players on collision.
- The knockback/bounce effect will remain unchanged.
Baller Locations
Ballers can be found within the vicinity of Pirate Camps and Expedition Outposts. You can find them either on their chargers or at the Pirate's loot stashes.
Features & Abilities
Roll Across the Map
As a vehicle, the Baller can easily transport players from one point of the map to the other by rolling. It can get through snow, sand, and grass with no problem.
Grapple to Higher Points
The Baller comes with its own Grappler attached to its front. Players can use it to attach to higher points to pull them and the baller up! Unlike the Grappler item, the Baller's grappler has unlimited use.
All Around Protection
The Baller's circular field provides an impressive shield around its driver, keeping them safe from attacks from all sides. Enemies will have to break the circular field first before they can damage the driver.
300 Health per Baller
With its massive health pool of 300, the Baller can keep you safe as you run away from enemies or traverse through the map. Just take note that once it's destroyed, it will leave you open to attacks!
Baller Gameplay Tips
Use to Escape from Enemies, Battle Zones
The Baller's 360-degree protection is a godsend when it comes to escaping from enemy confrontations. Swerve from left to right to make it harder for enemies to destroy your Baller as you make your escape.
Grapple to Reach High Points
The Grappler will allow you to get high up easily as long as it's in reach. This can help when trying to flank enemies at high points or when you need to get the high point advantage.
