Put on your trusty Jetpack and bring out your boomsticks to blow away the competition in The New Close Encounters Game Mode! As the name suggests, only shotguns are available in this game mode along with the Jetpacks.
Close Encounters LTM - Review
This LTM is a frantic and fast paced experience. Close quarter combat is gripping, and the added mobility of the Grappler and Jetpack allows for quick and speedy movement!

Fast Fuel Regen Rate
With the Jetpack's faster fuel regeneration rate, you can get off the ground faster, and join in on the action more often!
Slow Fuel Burn Rate
Compared to the default Jetpack, the Close Encounters Mode Jetpack burns fuel at a slower rate so you can be more mobile and avoid danger
Shotguns Only
Don't bother looking for your favorite Rifle. This game only features Shotguns! Get in close and personal!

Recommended Weapon: Heavy Shotgun
With its high damage output, and longer range compared to other Shotguns, the Heavy Shotgun is the ideal weapon to use in this mode!

Take advantage of Shotguns' full potential by engaging enemies in close quarters. Keep your aim on their upper body so as many pellets as possible connect to the target.
Try To Get The High Ground And Shoot Down
Shooting down on an enemy will give you a higher chance of dealing headshot damage to the enemy! Try to get on top of enemies as much as possible!

Using the Grappler to quickly close the gap between you and your enemy may disorient them because of your sudden presence. Use this window to shoot them down while they are panicking!
Don't Be Afraid Of Falling!
Once you get a Jetpack, don't be afraid of falling! Pressing the jump button while fallig will make your fall damage null. But keep eyes on the gauge not to have it overheated.
