Limited User Interface During Matches
In the Barebone LTM, a few essential UI elements have been removed. Although the UI isn't entirely gone since the item and crafts display and teammate UI will still be there.
No Map & Compass
With the map and compass gone, you will need to rely on your familiarity with the areas to get around the island. It will also remove your ability to check for the safe zone and the storm.
No Storm Timer
Timing your movements is essential in this game mode since there's no storm timer here! Going about without care can easily get you caught by the storm.
No Heads Up Display
Alerts, including when the storm will close in, are unavailable in this game mode. There's really no other way to find out where the storm is other than by seeing it yourself.
No Other Difference from Regular Battle Royale Modes
The Barebones LTM has the same mechanics and goal as other regular Battle Royale game modes. The only difference really is the removal of some of the user interface.
