Heavy Sniper Rifle - Weapon Review

Weapon Rating

*Weapons are rated from Rank "D" - Rank "S".

The Heavy Sniper's power against structures is not enough for it to be the go-to choice in solos due to its long reload time. However, it is a viable option for duos and squads to shoot down enemy structures while teammates shoot at the newly-exposed enemies.

Effective Range

*Effective range is rated by ◎ (Excellent), ◯(Good), △(Mediocre), ×(Bad).

Close RangeMiddle RangeLong Range

The Heavy Sniper is an excellent choice when engaging enemies from long range thanks to low bullet drop. It is not a viable option however, when facing enemies from mid to close range because of its low fire rate, slow reload speed, and scopes.

Heavy Sniper Rifle - Traits & Tips

Heavy Sniper Rifle - Weapon Traits

Deals Very High Damage

The Heavy Sniper deals 150 damage or higher, meaning it can instantly eliminate an enemy with no shields with one shot to the body. It can also bring down fully shielded enemies with a headshot!

Extremely Effective Against Player-Made Structures

The Heavy Sniper can destroy any floor, roof, wall or stair made by a player. It does not matter what material it is made of since the Heavy Sniper can one-shot them all.

Bullets Have Travel Time

The Heavy Sniper's bullets take time to hit their target since they travel the distance before damaging the enemy. Lead your shots when aiming at moving targets to increase your chances of the bullet connecting with the target.

Noticeable Bullet Drop & Shot Sound

Heavy Sniper's bullet drop makes aiming challenging. It also fires bullets loudly which will alert enemies.

Small Magazine Size & Long Reload Time

The Heavy Sniper only shoots 1 bullet before reloading. Make your shots count since it takes around 4 seconds to reload the gun.

Heavy Sniper Rifle - Weapon Tips

Aim For Headshots

Because of its low fire rate, it is recommended that you aim for headshots if you are unsure if the enemy still has a shield so you don't waste precious bullets and time.

Lead Your Shots

When aiming at moving targets, shoot at where you think the target would be when the bullet hits since it will take some time for the bullet to travel to your target.

Use To Destroy Player-Made Structures

Because of its high damage to structures, you may use the Heavy Sniper to quickly destroy player-made structures to disorient them and immediately switch to another weapon to finish them off.
