Weapon Traits
Has Bullet Drop & Travel Time
Crossbows suffers from bullet drop off and travel time, requiring players to lead and predict their shots. The farther away its target is, the long the travel time will be.
Ineffective in Short Range
At short range, Crossbows are very ineffective due to their generally slow fire rate, reload speed, and magazine size. Without the scope, Crossbows aso become harder to aim.
Weapon Tips
Move Around Between Shots
Don't let the enemy predict where you will be shooting. Keep changing your position to keep the element of surprise against enemies and to protect yourself from other snipers as well.
Keep a Close Range Weapon at Hand
In case you get cornered, make sure you have a backup weapon. Crossbows are ineffective at short range so always be prepared with another weapon if an enemy decides to rush you down.
Great for Sneaky Shots
With its silent shots, the Crossbows are great weapons to have when sneaking around and eliminating enemies without their knowledge. Make sure to stay hidden and move around spots so enemies won't be able to pinpoint your location.
