Adjust Graphics
Graphic settings are an important element that needs to be adjusted immediately in CoD. In a game with fast-paced gameplay, you need to see things immediately to react to the situation accordingly!
Recommended Settings
Aim For 60 FPS First
Frame rates are the key factor in any FPS game. You won't win if you lag/freeze whenever you meet an opponent no matter how detailed the graphics are. Scale down visual effects until you reliably have 60 fps in most situations.

Set Larger FOV
The default Field of View is typically too small, so you want to raise it to at least 90. You may want to make it higher but that would depend on your screen size and preference so the settings above would be a good starting point. However note that enlarging the FOV will make aiming more difficult.
Turn Off Settings That Causes Distractions
Some settings such as motion blurs are detrimental to your fighting performance as they can cause distractions. Disable these settings to gain the upper hand in split-second fights.
Adjust The Brightness Setting
The Brightness will be the first setting you need to adjust to help you play better in the game. Change the brightness so that the logos from left are not visible, barely visible, and easily visible.

What To Change
Your focus should be set on prioritizing the performance of your PC while maintaining a wide and clear view, especially on multiplayer modes so you can have an edge on other players. These settings will get rid of additional effects that may slow down your PC while also enhancing your view.
