Axie Land: Release Date

There is no official date for the release of Axie Land although it is expected that it will be released sometime in early 2022.
Axie Land: News Update
Land February Dev Update
Land will primarily be available for Land Owners for the first test phase since they are focusing on building a town-building type of game. With this, the update mentioned that they are planning to introduce off-chain Pawn Axies for Land Owners to do tasks within their land.
Land Item buffs will not be active for Phase 1 but will be available and updated in later Phases.
Along with the update, they mentioned that they are looking to incorporate AXS as a resource for selling crafted materials to NPCs.
Update & Maintenance NewsKitchen Leak - New Item & Decoration
A new leak has been shown on the recent DevChat #3 Stream last January 28, 2022. During the live stream, they released an image towards the end of the video. They called the image that they released a Kitchen. This might be an upcoming land item/decoration to be released before Axie Land becomes officially available.
Dev Journal & Teaser Update
Last new year's eve, Axie Infinity just released a new teaser video and updates for the upcoming game, axie land. It was mentioned on the Land Dev Journal + Teaser that they had added new elements for the game that will allow social interaction between players that is connected to special events.
They also stated that they been adding more people on their team to improve the overall design, mechanics, and gameplay of the upcoming game.
What To Expect On Axie Land
Phase 1
The phase 1 of the game's release will focus on simulation and land management. This specifically includes production, resouce gathering, building, and trading.
Phase 2
On phase 2, they will add additional gameplay management elements that includes skill trees, jobs, social and cooperative activities.
Phase 3
The last phase will focus on strategic gameplay as a group. From here, players will experience different encounters where they can defend, battle and conquer on seasonal events that affects Lunacia.
Axie Land Gameplay (Project K)
Place Axies and Collect Resources
You can use owned Axies on plot lands that you own to collect valuable resources which can be used to upgrade both Land and Axies.

Benefit By Receiving AXS and Other Resources
Players can benefit by receiving AXS and other resources by exploring and interacting with nodes with the nodes available on the map.
Real-Time PvE Combat
PvE Rewards
Monsters in the game are called Chimeras. These Chimeras can drop different resources, artifacts, blueprints used to upgrade land and individual Axies.
Solo Or Co-Op
Players will be able to take on these Chimeras and fight them real-time alone or with friends to gain additional rewards and benefits.
Land In Lunacia (Terra) Guide
Land Plots
Players can purchase Land plots in the marketplace. Keep in mind that the prices may vary depending on the type of land you purchase.

| Each square in Lunacia represents a tokenized plot of land. (Total Size: 301x301) 25% of land cn be claimed on the first land sale. Prices will at least have a 10% increase on future land sales. Luna's Landing is going to be owned by Lunacia's High Council to incentiveize content creators for world events. Public Nodes, and Chimera Spawn locations are represented by Pink squares. Roads will increase your travel time by 300%. Bridges can be used to go over rivers since Axies cannot cross the water. Up to 100 chests of certain land types can be puchased during the initial sale. |

Based on rumors and speculations, you may receive better rewards if your plot is closer to the center of the world.
Land-Owner Benefits
In addition to exploring, Land Owners may receive and find AXS rewards on their land plots overtime.
Also, Land Owners can customize and upgrade their plot to host shops, make Chimera beacons, produce resources and so much more.
Land Items
There are also items and decorations that you can put on your land plot to receive additional bonuses depending on the item's effect. These Land items have 4 different rarities and 1 environment. It's environment means that you can only use that land item on that specific land type.
You can purchase land Items on the Items tab in the Marketplace.
