Unlock Conditions and Rewards

Boss Challenge Unlocked at Union Level 10

The Boss Challenge is one of the Forgery Challenges and is unlocked at Union Level 10. By spending 60 Waveplates, you can obtain the material resources necessary to Ascend Characters and increase the level cap.

Required to Unlock First

Even if you go to the spawn location in the map before the Boss Challenge is unlocked, the boss will not appear and you won't be able to fight it.

Respawns in 2 Minutes

Among the Weekly Challenge bosses, Bell-Borne Geochelone can be defeated and will respawn after 2 minutes like the enemies in the Boss Challenge. Its Echo can be obtained without consuming Stamina, and it will respawn even if you wait in the same spot, so keep this in mind when farming Echoes.

Increased Absorb Success Rate 15 Times a Week

Upon defeating the Weekly Challenge boss, you'll receive an Echo. With a Data Bank level raised to 20, you are guaranteed to absorb the Echo up to 15 times each week. Even after reaching this limit, you can still absorb a Calamity Class (Weekly) Boss Echo once every two encounters.

Counted Separately from Boss Challenge

There are two types of Cost 4 Echoes: Overlord Class (Boss Challenge) and Calamity Class (Weekly Boss). The number of Echoes obtained after a successful absorption is tracked separately for Overlord Class and Calamity Class Echoes. Keep that in mind when farming both Echoes.
