How to Parry

Attack When A Yellow Ring Appears Around The Enemy

When a yellow ring appears around an enemy, it signals an attack that can be parried. By attacking at this precise moment, you can parry the enemy's attack and launch a counterattack.

You can Also Parry with Airborne and Jump Attacks

You can parry using not only basic attacks and skills but also flying and jumping moves. While aiming specifically for a parry isn't necessary, it can be useful to attempt it if you're about to be hit during a mid-air combo.

A Successful Parry Significantly Reduces the Vibration Strength

When you successfully parry attacks, you can significantly reduce the enemy's Vibration Strength, so try to parry whenever possible.

The Enemy is Stunned when the Vibration Strength is Depleted

When the Vibration Strength is fully depleted, the enemy will be immobilized, allowing you to attack freely. Additionally, you can also reduce the Vibration Strength by landing attacks.

Parry Tips

Use a Character that can Equip a Sword

The sword has a fast initial attack speed, making it easier to synchronize with enemy attacks. When aiming to reduce the Vibration Strength by Parrying, it's recommended to use a character equipped with a sword.

Rectifiers and Guns have a High Difficulty Parrying Attacks

The Rectifier, and similar weapons like Guns, is built for long-range attacks, which makes it tough to time and block enemy attacks when you try to parry them.

Parry with Intro Skill Instead when Characters are Using Guns or Rectifier

When swapping characters, you can trigger Intro Skills and Outro Skills, which can also be used to Parry. You can try to Parry incoming attacks using the Intro Skill if you're using a character equipped with a Rectifier or Gun.

Wait for the Enemy's Attack and Avoid Hasty Attacks

Wait for the attack

Parry requires matching your attack with the opponent's attack, so it is more difficult than evading quickly. However, the advantage is significant, so instead of attacking recklessly, it's better to wait for the opponent's attack and counter accordingly.
