Chaotic Juncture & Scar Location
Go to Qichi Village in Central Plains
Scar can be challenged through the gate in Qichi Village in Central Plains. Unlike Boss Challenges, once it's unlocked, you can move directly there using the fast travel function.
Need to Finish Chapter 1 Act 4
To challenge Scar, you must first clear the story up to Chapter 1 Act 4 to make the gate appear.

Boss Changes between First and Second Form
When its HP reaches 0 in human form, it changes into its second form. The boss will have full HP again, so preserve your Resonance Liberation if possible.
Attacks Using Cards and Kicks
Scar mainly attack using his cards and charged kicks. Even if you stay far away, he will jump towards you or attack from a distance with cards. It's best to fight Scar up close.
There is an Opening after the Kick
There is a chance to attack after the kick attack, so after dodging it use your Resonance Skill or Echo Skill. You'll have enough time to land those attacks.
Parry or Evade his Charge Attack
When hit by the charging attack after he roars, you'll be thrown into the air and take consecutive attacks. Always try to evade the attack using either Parry or evasion.
Vibration Strength Disappears Periodically
When Scar does the motion above like he's charging power, his Vibration Strength gauge will temporarily disappear. It will appear again over time, but since the gauge will be fully recovered and he does this frequently, it won't be easy trying to deplete it.
Scar Beast Form Tips
Mainly Uses Sword Attacks
After transforming, the primary method of attack shifts to close-range sword attacks. This not only extends the attack range but also adds an explosion within the lingering smoke after each slash. Therefore, carefully observe the boss's movements to dodge his attacks.
Avoid Shock Wave Attacks
The shockwave attack covers a wide area, so you'll still take damage even if you're far away. Watch the timing of the shockwaves and keep dodging it until the attack finishes.
Parry or Evade if He Tries to Grabs you
If he manages to grab you, he will slam you on the ground and deal a lot of damage. You can easily parry or evade these attacks, so be careful not to let him grab you. The boss will be vulnerable for a moment if you dodge this attack, giving you a chance to counterattack.
Similar Attack with his Sword
He has another attack where he lifts his sword. You will be restrained and a special cutscene will start, preventing you from doing anything. Be careful not to take the hit, try to counter it with a Parry or Evasion Attack to avoid getting damaged.
