Depths of Illusive Realm Guide

Players can choose one character for each difficulty. Trial Characters are also available in this realm. If the players are having a hard time or they do not have a well-built character, they can opt to use the Trial Characters provided in the realm. However some characters cannot be used in certain difficulties.

Your character's abilities will have some restrictions. But the equipment, Resonance Chain and Level will not change, so as long as they are above the recommended level, it is better to use your own character instead of the trial characters. Note that if you use Jiyan as a trial character he will have no Resonance Chains unlocked.

Once you are done choosing your character, you may choose what Echo to use. Each Echo has a different ability (offense and defense). Choose the Echo wisely and make sure it synergizes with your character to make things easier.

Each Metaphor you get along the way can enhance your character and also your Echo. Once your have the number of required Metaphors of the right type, you can get an extra buff.

After completing each stage, you will be given 2 choices. Most of them give you a Metaphor, but also remember to choose the door that has the enhancements you want. You can see what is behind the door by getting near them.

There is a shop available inside the Memory of Rest where you can buy buff items that will help you in combat. You can purchase the items you need using the Dream Fragments that can be obtained through event challenges as you progress in the event. Discounted items are also available in the shop as well, make sure to get whatever you think you are missing.

Once you complete the Depths of Illusive Realm you obtain Memory Points. These points will increase your character's abilities in the event through the Thought Evolution feature. Even if you get stuck on a certain stage, you can still go back and try again with higher stats.
