South of Wenye Beach

Feilian Beringal's Tactical Hologram: Calamity is located in Wenye Beach. This is in the Dim Forest, all the way south from Jinzhou.

Select Difficulty of the Challenge

Tactical Hologram: Calamity has different enemy levels and the attacks they use are also different depending on the level. There are also Special Mechanisms for difficulty levels 5 and higher. There are no disadvantages for failing so choose the highest difficulty that you think you have a chance to complete.

Special Mechanisms (Lvl 5 and Above)

[War Cry] 3 minutes after the battle begins, Feilian Beringal will increase its ATK by 50% every 10s, stacking up to no limit.

[Formation] If the Character is in full HP, Intro Skills will increase the enemy's Vibration Strength Reduction Rate by 5% on hit for 15s, stacking up to 20 times.
[Defection] After every 10 Dodge Counters, the next attack will additionally deplete the enemy's Vibration Strength by 30%. This timer is reset when attacked.

Feilian Beringal - Preparation Guide

Avoid Aero Element For Main DPS

Feilian Beringal is resistant to Aero Element so avoid using the Aero Element as much as possible. It's not weak to any element in particular so anything else besides Aero is fine.

Consume Food Before Starting

Tactical Hologram: Calamity can be challenged with food buffs. Consume food that increases your Attack and Crit Rate beforehand.

Prepare Revival Inhaler

Tactical Hologram: Calamity also allows you to use items during combat. The enemy's attacks deal a ton of damage and there is a high possibility of being defeated in one hit. Prepare the Revival Inhaler from the Synthesizer in Jinzhou in advance.

Feilian Beringal - Strategy Guide

Strategies for Difficulty Level 5+
The following tips are based on Difficulty Lvl 4. Also refer to additional info for difficulty 5 and above.

Parry the Grab after the Right Arm Attack

After the attack with its right arm, it will try to grab you with both of its hands. It won't be able to grab you even if you are standing in front of it as long as you are close enough to the boss, so aim to Parry it instead.

Watch out For Shockwaves In Difficulty Lvl 6

In Difficulty Level 6, Feilian Beringal creates its own shadow which also shoots shockwaves at you. It's not that difficult to avoid but it does it often, so be careful not to run out of time.

Avoid Shockwaves Just In Time To Hit

To avoid the attack that emits a shockwave when it slams the ground, dodge the attack right when its arms hit the ground. As the difficulty level increases, the number of times it slams the ground increases.

Attack Changes when One-Third of its Health is Reduced

When the Feilian Beringal loses a third of its health, it takes out a log and slams it to create shockwaves. The amount of shockwaves also increase as the difficulty level increases.

Log Swing Attack Cannot Be Parried

The boss will swing the log from the left and swing again in the opposite direction. Watch the timing of the swing to dodge it. Although there is a similar attack that can be parried, this attack cannot be parried.

Avoid The Spinning Attack By Gliding Up Into The Air

After a long roar, the boss spins his body while holding a log and an updraft is created just before the attack. Once you see the updraft, deploy your parachute to get up in the air and avoid the attack.
