Sub DPS & Support great for both ATK/DEF

Jianxin has a wide attack range and is extremely good for fighting against multiple enemies. In addition, her Forte Circuit can both deploy a shield and heal HP so she's good as both a Sub DPS and a Support character.

Unlock Resonance Chain to use as Main DPS

Jianxin can't deal a lot of damage without unlocking her Resonance Chain, so she's not meant for fighting against Hologram Bosses. However, once you unlock R4 and beyond, her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation becomes a lot stronger, increasing her burst damage and making her a powerful Main DPS.

Many ways to Gather Enemies

Her Basic Attack's 3rd hit, Resonance Liberation and Intro Skill all have the effect of pulling enemies together. This comes in handy when you want to attack multiple enemies like in the Tower of Adversity, having Jianxin in your party makes a huge difference in those situations.

How to Use Jianxin

Jianxin charges "Chi" by attacking and uses her Forte Circuit to finish off enemies. Her Resonance Liberation gathers all enemies in one spot, so you can use it to gain Chi or hit them with the Forte Circuit.

Use Basic ATK to Charge Chi

Jianxin's Resonance Skill is a counterattack so you basically will gain Chi by using the Basic ATK. The damage output isn't that high, but the 3rd hit has the effect of gathering enemies, so hit multiple enemies at once to gain more Chi.

Use Resonance Skill when Enemy Attacks

Jianxin's Resonance Skill activates automatically if you are holding down the ATK button when the enemy hits you. So she can counterattack when other characters would need to dodge the attack. Hold down the ATK button if you think you might take damage.

Use Resonance Liberation to Gather Enemies

Jianxin's Resonance Liberation can pull and gather enemies in one spot. If there are many enemies, you can gather them and use Basic ATK on them to charge Chi, or use Forte Circuit to finish them all off at the same time.

*Enemies of Elite Class or above cannot be pulled.

Hold Heavy ATK button when Chi is full

Once you fill your Chi gauge with mainly Basic Attacks, hold the Heavy Attack button to activate the Forte Circuit. It will unleash an AoE attack and also give you a shield.

Activate Bell-Borne Geochelone Before Attacking

If your main Echo is Bell-Borne Geochelone, activate the Echo Skill before you use the Heavy ATK. Using the Damage Reduction effect of the Forte Circuit and Echo Skill, you can avoid being damaged up to 3 times.

Jianxin's Skill Combo

Once Jianxin is in the field, use Basic ATK and Resonance Skills to gain Chi. If you are using Bell-Borne Geochelone activate the Echo Skill before using the Heavy ATK. You can reduce damage greatly with the Echo Effect and Forte Circuit.

Also Use Resonance Skill

You can use the Resonance Skill when you can't dodge an attack, or for the first strike against the enemy. You can also go for a counterattack by cancelling the Basic ATK to deal more damage.

Stonard increases Crit Rate and enhances Resonance Liberation, making it a great match with Jianxin. If your Crit Rate is already high and you want to focus on Heavy ATK, use Hollow Mirage.

Jianxin - Best Resonance Chain

Get Resonance Chain 2 if using as Support

Node 1 and 2 will mainly speed up charging energy. It makes it easier to deploy the shield, so you'll want Resonance Chain 2.

ATK increases greatly from Resonance Chain 4

You can raise durability up until Node 3, but from Node 4 most effects enhance your ATK, which make it possible to use as a Main DPS.
