The Little Mermaid (Shipwreck) Unlock Conditions and Location
Unlocked by Progressing the Story in Part Two

Unlock Conditions (Either one is fine) | - After obtaining the Key Fragment from the Junk Heap or the Forest of Myth, select "Talk to Popola..." - Obtain the Key Fragments from the Junk Heap, Forest of Myth, and The Aerie, then speak to Popola. |
This is unlocked during the Key Fragment collection part of the story in Part Two. If you want to play it as soon as possible, choose "Talk to Popola..." from the options that appear after clearing the Junk Heap or the Forest of Myth.
A Shipwreck Appears on the West Side of Seafront

The Shipwreck is located on the western beach of Seafront. It appears after you receive the request from Popola.

3. | Examine the Shipwreck on the beach and go inside |

7. | Exit the room, go right, and open the door with the key |
8. | Pick up the apple on the floor in the room you entered |

Just Examine the Glowing Spots to Progress

You can clear this area by basically just examining the glowing spots as you go.Grimoire Weiss will warn you if you're about to go the wrong way, so be sure to pay attention to the dialogue.

Louise Boss Fight Guide
A Total of Three Fights

You will fight Louise three times in a row. The third fight is mostly a cutscene, so it's effectively two consecutive battles.
Her Attack Pattern is Simple

In both the first and second fights, Louise only has about three attack patterns. It will be a long battle, but her patterns don't change much, so stay calm and deal with them accordingly.

An Additional Extra Episode

"The Little Mermaid" is a new extra episode added in this version of the game. It's added in the middle of the story and includes new characters and a boss fight.

"The Little Mermaid" was originally one of the short stories included in the NieR Replicant art book. In this version, it has been adapted into a playable in-game segment.
Set in a Shipwreck in Seafront

It's a story about a postman and a young girl who meet in a shipwreck that has washed ashore in Seafront. Hearing that people have been disappearing one after another since the shipwreck appeared, Nier and his companions visit Seafront.
