Shaman Fish Can Only Be Caught on the Western Beach
There is a beach near where you get the fishing rod, but you cannot catch Shaman Fish there. Remember that you can only catch them on the slightly more distant western beach.
Fishing is Unlocked
When you proceed with the Seafront route, you can obtain a fishing rod. , you will be able to catch valuable fish. This can be useful for making money in the latter half of the game, so it's a good idea to advance it.

Tavern Location
The tavern, which often becomes a destination for quests, is in the building at the very end when you go straight down from the entrance.
