Giant Eggs can be obtained at a low probability from shiny spots (gathering points) in the Protagonist's Village. However, they will only start appearing from gathering points after clearing the quest "The Lost Eggs".
Farm by Repeatedly Changing Areas
Gathering points spawn randomly each time you change areas, so after checking, reset them by changing areas. The route between the Northern Plains and the Eastern Road has many gathering points, making them easy to find.
