A New Ending Appears in the Second Playthrough
It's no exaggeration to say that the appeal of 'NieR Replicant' lies in its profound story. After clearing the game once, you'll not only meet the conditions to unlock a new ending (Ending B), but new events will also be unlocked, so aim to clear the story again.
Challenge 15 Nightmares

The '15 Nightmares' content, which was paid DLC in the original game, is unlocked in your second playthrough. You can access it by examining the bookshelf on the 1st floor of the protagonist's house. The difficulty is quite high, so it's recommended to challenge it on your third playthrough or later, once you've leveled up.
Ability to Change the BGM

From 'Settings' on the title screen, you can change the BGM to the 'NieR:Automata' version. It completely changes the atmosphere, so if you've played the related game, give it a try.
Can Only Be Changed on the Title Screen
Note that the BGM can only be changed from the title screen. It cannot be changed from the in-game options menu, so if you want to change or revert it, you'll need to return to the title screen to do so.

Collect the Strongest Weapons and Words

Some weapons and Words have top-tier performance. To make subsequent playthroughs easier, it's recommended to obtain the strongest equipment.

As detailed later, to see all endings, it is mandatory to collect all 30 weapons available in the game. Your weapon acquisition status carries over through playthroughs, so collect any you're missing.
See All 4 Endings
*Spoiler Warning*

'NieR Replicant' has multiple endings, and by playing through the third time, you can reach Endings A through D. Be sure to see the story through to the very end.
In Ver.1.22, You Don't Need to Worry About Data Deletion
*Note: In the PS3 version, deleted data cannot be restored*
Due to its nature, Ending D requires the deletion of your save data to see it all. In the PS3 version, the data would be gone for good, but in Ver.1.22, you can restore your save data by achieving Ending E.
See Ending E
*Spoiler Warning*

After deleting your data for Ending D, start a new game from the beginning. Then, after the second Hook fight in The Aerie, you will enter the route for Ending E. After ending E, your deleted clear data will be restored, and you can play again.
A Hidden Weapon Can Also Be Obtained

With the clear data restored after Ending E, go to Kainé's house in The Aerie to obtain the hidden weapon 'Kainé's Sword'. It boasts the strongest performance in the game, making it useful for overpowering enemies in your post-game playthroughs.
Aim for Trophy Completion

For those who want to complete everything, aim to get all the available trophies (Trophy Completion). However, getting all trophies is less about difficulty and more about being a time-consuming endeavor, so whether you pursue it or not should depend on your playstyle.
